MEMBERS DECLARATION

By Signing I have read and understood the vision, purpose and objective of PNG Christian 

Professional Network Inc, its’ constitution and what is required of members where the following are 

recitals directly involving membership pursuant to Part II Section 7 of the current constitution:

PART II MEMBERSHIP

1.         MEMBERSHIP

Membership is open to:

(a) Any person who has once been a member of a TSCF fellowship in an affiliate Institution in Papua New Guinea; or

(b) Graduates from any Christian fellowships at Colleges and universities both in PNG and overseas

(c) Any person who was not a member of TSCF fellowship or any Christian Fellowships at Colleges and  Universities  but  agrees  and  accepts  the  Values  and  Belief  Statement  of  PNG Christian Professionals Network Inc. and wishes to abide by the same.

A By-law may make provision for the types (if any) of members and other terms and conditions of membership of the Association.

2.         MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

(a)      Practice Honesty and Respect in Private and Public life; or

(b)      Advocate for good governance,

(c)      Advocate for any form of violence at work place and community,

(d)      Passionate about national development

(e)      Leadership capability in influencing change

(f)       Support Community development

(g)      Inspire Innovation

(h)      Love for God and Humanity

(i)       Committed member of his/her local church

3.         APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP

A  person  applying  for  membership  of  the  PNG  Christian  Professionals  Network  may fill in  the appropriate form pay the appropriate fees determined by the Association from time to time and tender the application to the Administration.

The Administration, upon receipt of the application and being satisfied that all requirements under this ave been complied with, refer the application to the Board Committee  on  Membership  to  consider  and  approve  before  the  applicant’s  name  is  entered on  the register, as a member of the Association.

The Association will issue a membership certificate showing membership number together with other details which shall be a conclusive evidence of membership.

4         CESSATION OF MEMBERSHIP

A person ceases to be a member of PNG Christian Professional Network, if the person;

(a)      Dies;

(b)      Resigns that membership;

(c)       Is expelled from the Network on disciplinary, spiritual or moral grounds.,

5.         TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP

A member may resign from the association at any time by giving notice in writing to The secretary.

The resignation takes effect on:

(a)      The day and at the time the notice is received by the secretary; or

(b)      If a later day is stated in the notice – it will be the date stated therein.

The Board may terminate a member’s membership, if the member:

(a)      Is convicted of an indictable offence;

(b)      Fails to comply with any of the provisions of these Constitution;

(c)       Has membership fees in arrears; or

(d)      Conducts  himself  or  herself  in  a  manner  considered  to  be  injurious  or  

prejudicial  to  the character or interests of the association.

Before the Board terminates a member’s membership, the Board must give the member a full and fair opportunity to show cause as to why the membership should not be terminated.

If, after considering representations made by the member, the Board decided to terminate the membership, the secretary of the Board must give the member a written notice of the decision.

Subject to a By-law financial membership shall terminate at the close of each calendar year in which membership was initiated.

6.         MEMBERS BENEFITS

(c)       Able to buy shares on CPN business ventures as well as CPN members business ventures;

(d)      Access financial, educational and professional services at discounted rate than what’s offered on the market;

(e)     Make use of RENT-to-BUY scheme provided by TREL

(f)      Get a 2% discount interest on Beyond Finance Loan

(g)     Joining a greater pool of like-minded professionals who could share knowledge, experiences and skills that will help you to move faster to achieve your goals in life.

The Board determines the final decision of the membership.
